The Square-stemmed Monkeyflower (Mimulus ringens) is a magnificent perennial wetland plant, ideal for water gardens, pond edges, and banks. This plant, reaching up to 75 cm in height, produces delicate purple flowers throughout the summer, adding a colorful and natural touch to wet environments. The monkeyflower prefers cool, moist soils and thrives in garden corners where the soil does not dry out in summer. Under optimal conditions, this species easily naturalizes through its seeds and rhizomes, ensuring a lasting presence in landscaped areas.

Medicinal and Culinary Uses
