Where to Grow Kale Mix

Suitable for zones 3 to 9, it prefers fertile, well-drained soil and a full sun to partial shade location. It excels in raised beds, containers, and open gardens, especially in cool, humid climates.

Information for Canadian Climate

• Zones 8-9: direct sow in spring or fall for year-round harvests.
• Zones 5-7: sow in spring and late summer for two main harvests.
• Zones 3-4: indoor sowing then transplanting; can be grown in cold frames.

How to Grow and Harvest Kale Mix

• Sowing: 6 mm deep; spacing 30–45 cm.
• Watering: keep soil moist, especially in summer.
• Harvesting: pick outer leaves regularly to prolong production.
• Maintenance: mulch and practice crop rotation to prevent diseases.

Tips for Storing Your Seeds
