Description

The Cape Gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) is a vigorous plant that can reach up to 2m in height. Its golden-orange fruits, enclosed in papery husks, offer a sweet and slightly tart flavor. Delicious fresh, in desserts, jams, or chutneys, they keep surprisingly well for several months when left in their husks.
